Volunteers

Working together we learn a lot of the way nature provides. There is something reassuring in the productivity of nature. Pigs or chicken don't read newspapers, shaking their heads and there deciding to stop eating because Wallstreet crashed again.

Volunteering at Bogata Suma means giving attention to what you want to achieve in life. In this work we organise things so that everybody does what he/she is able to do & or wants to learn.

The processes are guided daily by us. Special care is given to end of weeks. As such the organisational processes are our learning means. The care is a means to deliver as high a level of service to ourselves and our surroundings as possible.

There are several departments that need attention daily. Kitchen, sanitary, sleeping quarters of everybody except us, livestock care, and developing projects.

As service to ourselves and you as volunteers, food preparation is done by those that love cooking for themselves and others. Also by those that would love to learn how to cook on a woodstove or want to learn to cook something entirely different. Cleaning kitchen etc. is shared.
